|Summary||0009533: [Request] onPlayerConnect redirectedFrom (or something like that) parameter|
it would be nice if there was a way to detect from where a player was redirected from to the server.
In my case, I need to "move" players that were redirected from a certain server into a special "arena" on a multigamemode server.
But right now I can't find any way to do that.
Thanks for reading.

Save an xml file in one of their resources, with a time out date written in it. When they connect check the xml file exists and ensure the time period has not expired. "If this makes any sense"
Yes, I came up with the same idea last night.
I haven't tested anything but I'm sure I read somewhere that you cannot access files of a non running resource on clientside.
So maybe the resources need to have the same name for that?
Anyway, this requires access to the redirecting server too, works for certain situations, but not in general.
Oh yeah good point. And yeah you'd need to use same name.
I think that this would be a great addition. Just like redirecting with html; you can see where the person was redirected from
