Summary0003434: request: A way to get out of animations

Sometimes using animations forces you to keep that animation until you change it to another one, or fire a weapon.

Other times even that doesn't work and you have to respawn to get rid of it.

It would be very useful to have a function that stops the current animation and gives control back to the player.

You can simply teleport the player to its local position, that will reset the states.

local x, y, z = getElementPosition (player)
setElementPosition (x,y,z)

i belive setPlayerAnimation was supposed to allow "nil" to be passed, but was never added

Are you sure about that Peter? I set the position of peds every frame and that didn't stop their animation (in my old script I made a month ago).
