Summary0002987: Element data set on players client side is not received by joining players
Description

This was an issue with race:

  • Whenever a player goes through a checkpoint, he saves the checkpoint number as element data on himself (client script).
  • Another player joins and tries to retrieve this element data from all players (also client side) in order to calculate his current rank. This fails, getElementData returns false.
  • As soon as a remote player goes through a checkpoint and sets new element data, the player that joined does receive this new data.
Additional Information

Temporary (hacky) fix is to get and set element data on all players server side whenever a player joins.
